WE ARE ABOUT GREAT FOOD...
From humble beginnings, Gaby & Emma Gabaldon started serving their delicious recipes, with a tiny kitchen in the back of this original home in 1951. Emma’s unique and flavorful dishes wowed and amazed guests from all over. Casa Mañana soon became the destination restaurant of the Gila Valley. As time progressed Casa Mañana continued to grow in popularity. The Gabaldon’s moved their home next door to allow Casa Mañana to grow. Converting the house into an open dining room and adding a bigger kitchen.
Traditional Mexican restaurant that never disappoints. When we visit town to see our college kids, eating here together is now a tradition. They have a delicious mix of flour and corn tortilla chips with their two types of salsa. The horchata is very good. And I haven't yet had anything on the menu I haven't enjoyed.
Reservation made and accommodating to a time change and added people to an already large party. Salsa was delicious. The beans all looked microwaved, not very tasty and dry. I have never had a “Chile relleno” that looked or tasted like this. It was like an omelette with a slice of green chile in it. I privately shared with my server that it wasn’t what I was expecting and I didn’t like it and he simply said “well that’s just how we make it here”. He wasn’t rude, just zero concern. Many didn’t like their meal. Disappointing.
The crispy taco special with shredded beef was the taste of the day. The beef was sad, it needed some love, pico de Gallo helped but it just needed more. The beans were spot on but the rice.... well.. just leave it. No flavor profile. In all, i will reccommend this place, great service, fresh food and a neat building. Please go and support them! I will again for sure.
It's a great place to eat! The ambiance is really nice, especially the mural artwork. Also, it has a really nice outside area.
The food was delicious, service was mediocre, parking is bad cause it's always packed. Overall enjoyable experience.
