    WE ARE ABOUT GREAT FOOD...
From humble beginnings, Gaby & Emma Gabaldon started serving their delicious recipes, with a tiny kitchen in the back of this original home in 1951. Emma’s unique and flavorful dishes wowed and amazed guests from all over. Casa Mañana soon became the destination restaurant of the Gila Valley. As time progressed Casa Mañana continued to grow in popularity. The Gabaldon’s moved their home next door to allow Casa Mañana to grow. Converting the house into an open dining room and adding a bigger kitchen.

Great service! Stopped in on the way through Safford while heading home. Got drinks along with chips and salsa while we looked over the menu and then placed our order to go. The food was plentiful, packaged well, and thoroughly enjoyed once we were home. Haven't been in for a long while and sure did miss it after enjoying the food. Will certainly be back.

We had a very pleasant experience tonight at Casa. Our waitress (wish I had gotten her name) was amazing. She checked on us frequently and most importantly, she was happy and very friendly! Food was great, especially the guacamole dip!! ☺️

the foods decent, i’m writing a review because no one in the restaurant knows how to wear a mask. we’re 11 months into this. very disappointing. the employees weren’t wearing masks, the customers weren’t. let’s all stop being selfish and wear masks to protect the people around you:) never coming back. not worth the food.

Stories are still told by our vintage guests that remember making tortillas & tamales in the shed between the restaurant & house. After owning and operating Casa Mañana for more than 25 years the Gabaldon’s retired and sold their business to a new family. Passing down their nostalgic recipes and ensuring they were followed by the new owners to maintain the Casa Mañana heritage. These 67 year old hand written recipes, found on an old notebook paper, are still in use today.
