We went to this restaurant after Church services. We arrived around 12:30 and left at 2:15 - having never been served our meals. We were hungry and asked our VERY young waitress if she knew when our food would be coming. She said she would ask - she did not come back with any kind of an answer, so we left. What I can say is that the salsa was pretty good but the chips were stale. I had a root beer and it was good. BTW - we ordered enchiladas - they do not take 2+ hours to make.
Food is good, green chile very nice and spicy. Finally someone knows what green chile should taste like! Nice and spicy not canned.
The food has definitely changed and for the better here! Taco Tuesday is awesome!
The wait staff was friendly & they served us pretty quickly.
El Coronado has been around for ever. Recently sold, I was worried rhings would change. They did. But, for the better! The menu is the same, but the atmosphere has been upgraded through a needed remodel. The prices seem to be a bit higher, but still very reasonable and the portions seem bigger.
